Job summary

Nüvitek is seeking a Consultant for the Power Platform to develop and implement Power Platform applications, workflows, integrations, and data solutions in a hybrid role based in Camp Springs, MD. This position collaborates with stakeholders and supports design, testing, and production support.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in computer science and about six years of software development experience, with hands-on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Experience building business apps, automated workflows, data solutions, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of architecture, databases, APIs, and software development practices.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical design and system documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting applications and supporting production systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Translate defined business requirements into functional and technical Power Platform solutions.
• Design, build, test, and implement applications and automated workflows that meet business needs and IT standards.
• Develop application components, data models, integrations, and workflows based on approved designs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including designs, schemas, integration, and deployment docs.
• Participate in technical design and code reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Troubleshoot application issues, user concerns, and defects.
• Support application performance improvements and architecture changes.
• Assist with software releases, deployments, installations, and training.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks and communicate issues to leadership.
• Follow established development, security, documentation, and quality standards.
