Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design and build Power Apps and manage SharePoint sites for a federal client in Alexandria, VA. The role requires an active Secret clearance, 6+ years in a federal/DoD setting, and 3+ years delivering end-to-end Power Apps solutions, including Canvas and Model-driven Apps with Power Automate workflows.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET DoD/DoW security clearance.
• 6+ years in federal/DoW or similar professional environment.
• 3+ years delivering Power Apps solutions with end-to-end scope.
• Hands-on experience building Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Automate workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to explain complex tech to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; agile delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Power Apps solutions that integrate with secure data sources.
• Develop scalable Power Automate flows aligned with complex data pipelines.
• Connect Canvas Apps to Dataverse, SharePoint, and third-party data via connectors and APIs.
• Create reusable components, connectors, and templates to streamline development.
• Gather requirements and translate into technical specs for sprints.
• Implement best practices for performance, security, governance, and maintainability.
• Support existing Power Platform solutions by troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Implement RBAC, row-level security, and table permissions.
• Modernize manual and document-driven processes through targeted automation.
• Collaborate in agile sprint planning, reviews, and milestones.
