Job summary

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, build, and sustain modern applications across the enterprise. You will integrate with Microsoft 365/Azure, lead Power Platform implementations, and craft Power BI data models for actionable insights.

The role emphasizes secure, compliant solutions, rapid iteration, and collaboration with stakeholders. DoD/Army exposure and security clearance readiness are valued assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with demonstrable delivery.
• Advanced Power Automate expertise (HTTP actions, Graph/REST integration, custom connectors, environment strategies).
• Solid Power Platform knowledge and development experience (Power Apps basics, Power BI authoring, Dataverse/SharePoint as data sources).
• Proven experience building secure, production-grade integrations.
• Strong data skills: modeling, DAX/M, performance tuning, governance in Power BI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation skills; comfortable with rapid iteration and live demos.
• CompTIA Security+ (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• One or more job related computing environment certifications (e.g., PL-900/PL-100/PL-300) (or required within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications and services that integrate with Microsoft 365/Azure environments.
• Lead development of Microsoft Power Platform solutions, especially Power Automate flows at scale (governance, monitoring, exception handling, connectors, ALM).
• Build intuitive Power BI reports/dashboards and data models that translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Integrate AI capabilities into new and existing apps with prompts; bonus for enterprise Copilot/AskSage experience.
• Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements, iterate quickly, and deliver secure, compliant solutions.

• Experience in DoD/Army environments (e.g., Army 365), RMF/ATO awareness, or data handling in IL-enclaves
• CI/CD for Power Platform (solutions, pipelines), test automation, and governance at scale
• Azure services: Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Service Bus, Storage

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$135,000 - $147,000 USD
