Position Title: Power Platform Developer

Position Location: Currently remote with occasional onsite meetings in Arlington, VA.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Develop Power Platform applications using MS Dataverse
• Support solutions addressing business needs, including apps, workflows, forms, collaboration sites, document management, and BI/reporting
• Lead technical efforts for existing Power Apps and integration of legacy apps into Dataverse
• Review and upgrade existing Power Platform apps, plan automation integrations
• Understand business operations to utilize Microsoft tools effectively, automating processes and improving efficiency
• Define and adhere to best practices, provide technical recommendations, and optimize solutions
• Assist QA with documentation migration to SharePoint
• Set up and monitor automation flows for data integration, migration, and alerts
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Develop Power Platform solutions, troubleshoot challenges, and develop DAX functions
• Implement and audit security best practices in accordance with governance
• Serve as SharePoint SME, gather requirements, create specs, and ensure project success
• Proficiency in SharePoint Framework
• Monitor new Microsoft features in GCC environment
• Develop training materials and deliver software training
• Identify opportunities to improve user experience and system processes

Minimum Experience:

• At least 3 years working with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI) and SharePoint

Degree/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer

Additional Experience:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, JSON, Python, JavaScript, SQL
• Experience as lead architect of Power Apps with Dataverse and SQL
• Managing work, code, and Azure ecosystem administration
• Experience with data security and access controls in SharePoint
• Data modeling and query tools experience, including Power Query in Power BI and Excel
• Strong presentation skills and user empowerment with Power Platform

Clearance Requirement:

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
