North Rock Consulting is seeking a skilled developer with Power Apps expertise to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. As a Microsoft Power Platform Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative Power Apps solutions. You will help us transform technology into opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bring an analytical skill set with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, analytical/statistical techniques, and PowerBI visualizations to address emerging challenges, ad-hoc requests or to proactively identify data visualization opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Create and build dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insight into areas of organizational interest.
• Support development of workflows, integrations, and applications using the Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Test and validate visualizations to ensure accurate prediction of outcomes of interest.
• Utilize and maintain data dictionaries to understand complex data sets.
• Support activities across the full software development lifecycle—including design, development, unit testing, quality assurance, deployment, security hardening, and maintenance—for PowerBI and other Power Platform applications.
• Work closely with Federal staff and end users to understand needs, communicate status, and implement solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience (Power Apps experience is required)
• 3+ years developing analysis and visualizations with PowerBI
• 2+ years using quantitative, analytical, or statistical techniques to model and visualize data
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with clients and end users
• Experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders as well as end-users

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Database or data warehouse development experience (Dataverse)

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
