Job summary

Eastman has an immediate opening for a Power Watch Engineer in Indian Orchard, Massachusetts. This position supports Power Plant Operations, a 24/7 co-generation plant providing energy to the facility.

You will supervise operating and maintenance staff, keep logs, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate outside contractors. Required: high school diploma or GED and MA 3rd Class Stationary Engineer's license; 1st/2nd Class licenses preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts 3rd Class Stationary Engineer's license is required.
• Massachusetts 1st or 2nd Class Stationary Engineer's license is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a power generation facility is preferred.
• Process Control Systems experience is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Power Plant wage operating and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain necessary operating and maintenance logs and records.
• Trouble-shoot operating issues quickly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Direct work of outside contractors performing maintenance/repair work as necessary.
