Job summary
GE Vernova is seeking a Plant Engineer to provide engineering support for plant operations, maintenance, reliability, and capital projects in a safe and compliant facility. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Plant Leadership to optimize equipment performance and lifecycle.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least five years of experience in a combined-cycle or similar industrial setting.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of power generation systems and combined-cycle plant operations.
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) or predictive maintenance.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specs.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for daily plant operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
- Monitor plant performance data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operating costs.
- Lead or participate in RCA and FMEA and develop corrective actions.
- Develop and manage MOC documentation for plant modifications.
- Support outages, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare engineering reports and equipment documentation.
- Provide technical support for procurement and project execution.
