Job summary

Entergy is seeking a student intern to work with Plant Engineers and Team Leaders to prepare for full-time employment in a power plant. You will support outage project planning, engineering design and review packages, and root cause investigations while maintaining safety on all tasks.

You’ll also spend time with maintenance and operations to deepen plant principle knowledge. Applicants must be enrolled in mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum GPA of 2.8 and may have GE/FE exam

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• GPA of at least 2.8 (4.0 scale), verified by official transcript.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and team leaders in outage project planning.
• Contribute to engineering design and review packages.
• Support root cause analysis investigations while upholding safety practices.
