Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. seeks an Outage Coordinator to support plant management in planning, execution, and documentation for major outage work at client facilities. The role involves on-site work, interfacing with contractors and suppliers, and developing detailed project reports.

The ideal candidate will read electrical/control diagrams, update schedules, and ensure safety compliance. Prior registration is preferred but not required; PPE and field readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience interfacing with owners, suppliers, contractors, and plant personnel.
• Develop installation and maintenance processes, schedules, and procedures for safe operation and maintenance of plant facilities.
• Read and interpret electrical and control system drawings; mark up changes to drawings as needed.
• Understand, read, and update Critical Path Method schedules.
• Professional registration (e.g., PE) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist plant management in planning, execution, and documentation for major outages or project work at client facilities.
• Interface with equipment suppliers, construction contractors, and plant personnel on behalf of the owner.
• Develop documented reports for each project and update project schedules as required.
• Meet with station management to ensure plant objectives and upcoming challenges are met.
• Work on-site at the client's facility and comply with PPE and safety requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings; update drawings with required changes.
