Qualifications include vocational training or mechanical experience, with a preference for 2–4 years in a power plant setting. A 12-hour rotating shift and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational training and/or mechanical experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of power plant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install piping and conduit for plant upgrades and modifications.
• Operate demineralizers, compressors, and turbine components.
• Inspect watch on each system and maintain plant equipment.
• Record data from meters and gauges to verify conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with minor capital projects.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely equipment repairs.
