Job summary

CAMS - Texas is seeking an Auxiliary Plant Operator to responsibly run and monitor all plant equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations at the Temple Power Facility. You will work under the direction of Shift Supervisors or Operations Managers and uphold plant procedures while engaging with customer and community stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on operation of DCS/PLC systems, routine maintenance, and strict adherence to safety standards, with on-call and varied shifts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversees safe, efficient, reliable operation of plant equipment.
• Operate plant auxiliary equipment and systems during normal and emergency operations.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep the facility operational.
• Generate and review Work Requests for equipment repair.
