Qualifications

• Ability to understand procedures and instructions, four years of high school or equivalent.
• Must read, write and speak English to understand and communicate safely.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable per policy.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook and internet for data entry and communications.

Responsibilities

• Operate power-generation equipment during normal, maintenance, and emergency procedures.
• Monitor meters, gauges and control boards; adjust output per protocols.
• Review data and troubleshoot abnormal indications; document logs and activities.
• Participate in safety training, plant procedures, and shift handoffs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors; support training of other operators.
