Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in power generation or equivalent military/technical experience may substitute for the degree.
• Previous second-line supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and daily oversight to operations and maintenance in the plant.
• Assist Plant Manager in achieving safety, environmental, profitability, unit availability, and efficiency goals.
• Oversee budgets, reporting, and regulatory compliance including NERC and WECC standards.
• Lead programs such as performance management, outage management, asset integrity, and capital/project management.
• Travel occasionally as required, and interact with regulatory and public stakeholders.
