Capital Power is seeking a Plant Operator for the Midland Cogeneration Venture in Midland, MI. The role reports to the Operations Shift Supervisor and involves monitoring plant equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and performing plant switching and tagging to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 3–5 years in generating plant operations, and a valid driver’s license.

Competenze

• 3–5 years’ experience in generating plant operations.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Mansioni

• Monitor equipment in power block and balance‑of‑plant areas for safe, efficient operation.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Operate plant equipment and systems per procedures.
• Maintain logs and assist with work orders and valve lineups.
