Pardeesville, PA-based Power Plant Technician role at Luminant Generation Company LLC. You will operate, monitor, and control gas plant systems from the Control Room, execute start-ups/shut-downs, respond to alarms, and coordinate with maintenance teams to support safe, reliable plant operation.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. You may need to qualify on the POSS/MASS program and wear PPE as required.

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Tier 1 job performance measures: Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrument & Controls.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective oral & verbal communications.

Responsabilidades

• Inspects, repairs, and maintains various types of plant equipment.
• Understands and ensures proper operation of the plant; may oversee in absence of management.
• Repairs and calibrates equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment and systems.
• Develops and implements plant operating procedures.
• Adheres to safety, health and environmental procedures (Lockout Tagout, JSA, Confined Space, Hot Work, PPE).
• Actively trains others in area of expertise.
• Performs technical work or analysis of processes in areas of expertise.
• Gains knowledge of the entire plant cycle and how it functions.
