Job summary

Y99000 General Electric Company is seeking an Operational Engineer located at our Lynn facility. The role involves operating boilers, monitoring safety conditions, and conducting water tests, all under rotating shifts. The base pay is $23.50 per hour, with possible bonuses and multiple employee benefits such as health coverage and retirement savings.

Ideal candidates will possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with a Commonwealth of Massachusetts 2nd Class Firemen’s license. Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Commonwealth of Massachusetts 2nd Class Firemen’s license required.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and confined areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate all boilers and auxiliary equipment in the power plant.
• Monitor alarm panel and respond to alarms.
• Conduct water tests and maintain proper treatment.
