Job summary

Reworld is seeking a licensed engineer to operate and monitor high‑pressure boiler systems and generating equipment at our Massachusetts facility. The role requires a valid Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s license or higher, plus at least three years of boiler experience or formal technical training and a high school diploma.

You will read meters, adjust temperatures and pressures, perform safety tests, maintain logs, and train other operators.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s license or higher.
• 3+ years with high pressure boilers and electric generating equipment.
• Formal technical training acceptable with a High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Control operation of steam generation, condensate, feed water, turbine/generator, and related systems.
• Read meters and gauges to determine conditions and act per procedures.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, and flow for plant optimization.
• Initiate periodic safety tests and report abnormal conditions.
• Maintain logs and calculations, flag faulty operation to supervision.
• Monitor pumps, motors, valves, dampers, and air handling equipment.
• Oversee fire protection, electrical supply, and instrumentation.
• Identify and correct abnormal operating conditions or emergencies.
• Train other Operators on plant systems and steam cycles.
