Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC seeks a Plant Manager to direct all Operations and Maintenance activities at the California plant. Ensure adequate manpower, tools, and spare parts are available for safe and efficient operation while complying with safety, environmental, and power-generation requirements.

The role oversees outages, training programs, policy reviews, and personnel certification. Strong leadership and motivation are essential to maintain high morale and meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• 10 years of power plant or similar experience.
• 3 years of experience supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel.
• Preferred experience: Gas turbine experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct all O&M activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant.
• Ensure adequate manpower, tools, equipment, and spare parts are available.
• Manage and oversee planned and unplanned plant outages.
• Implement training and qualification programs for plant personnel.
• Review plant policies and procedures to reflect current operating requirements.
• Hire and verify certification status of personnel as needed.
• Maintain morale and motivation of plant personnel.
• Prepare required client and utility reports, budgets, and environmental QA/QC programs.
