Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a single power generation facility in Texas. You will own the site P&L, manage operations and maintenance, and ensure safety, compliance, and reliability around the clock.

You will drive continuous improvement, oversee outages and budget targets, and collaborate with Engineering, EH&S, and finance to optimize performance and costs. This role requires 7+ years in power/industrial operations and 3+ years leading teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in power generation or heavy industrial operations.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in a 24/7 environment.
• Accountability for site financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience with natural-gas reciprocating engines or gas-turbine generation and related systems.
• Experience leading outages, major maintenance, and capital-planning activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for plant functions including operations, maintenance, reliability, safety and administration.
• Own the full site P&L including budgeting, forecasting, labor, maintenance, vendors, and outages.
• Drive safety, reliability, compliance, and cost-performance targets across the site.
• Direct operation, maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle stewardship of generating assets.
• Lead outage planning, major maintenance, and long-term asset management strategies.
• Oversee commercial obligations, customer commitments, warranties, and service agreements.
• Represent the site to customers and lead reviews of plant performance and risk.
• Partner with Engineering, EH&S, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, IT, and contractors.
• Support startups, commissioning, performance testing, and project transitions.
