Job summary

Candidates should have an ABET engineering degree with substantial plant operations experience, and be prepared to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required with 6 years of power plant operations experience.
• Or high school diploma/GED with 8 years of power plant operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support to Energy Production and other plant groups.
• Develop and maintain startup/shutdown and emergency operating procedures.
• Participate in operating training and related programs.
• Support plant safety and environmental compliance activities.
• Assist with unit startups/shutdowns and outage planning.
• Contribute to LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Gather, monitor, and report data to support operational excellence.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Respond to callouts and support plant availability as needed.
