Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician (OMT) to support the Campbell Power Plant in Sacramento, California. This multi-craft role ensures safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation and maintenance of a combined-cycle facility.

You will perform field and control-room operations, inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, plant chemistry tasks, and outages support, progressing through Campbell and McClellan qualification paths toward

Qualifications

• Requires ability to complete formal qualification requirements and progress through Campbell and McClellan programs.
• Experience with power generation, industrial maintenance or equivalent.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and holidays.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform field rounds, inspections, and operator watch duties; identify abnormal conditions and take corrective action.
• Operate plant equipment from field and DCS per procedures and permits.
• Support startup, shutdown, loading, unloading, and abnormal operations after qualification.
• Complete Campbell OMT qualification within site timelines and pursue McClellan qualification.
• Progress toward LOMT qualification and develop control-room leadership skills.
• Provide coaching and training to other personnel as qualifications develop.
• Coordinate outage planning, scheduling, and contractor activities for safe operation.
