Job summary

NAES is seeking an O&M Technician at the Fairview Energy Center near Johnstown, PA. You will operate and troubleshoot combustion turbines, HRSGs, and associated systems to support reliable 24/7 plant performance.

Responsibilities include monitoring, logging, and coordinating preventive maintenance with other plant personnel, while adhering to safety and environmental requirements. CMMS is used to track work orders and spare parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in power plant technology or engineering is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in power generation or similar industrial environments.
• Proficiency with plant operations, equipment troubleshooting, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain combustion turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, and related equipment.
• Monitor parameters, record logs, and ensure safe plant operations and compliance.
• Coordinate with plant personnel and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts inventory.
• Train staff on preventive maintenance and safe work practices.
