Qualifications

• 8+ years in coal or natural gas power plant operations and maintenance, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of thermal power plant equipment, systems, and operating processes.
• Familiarity with DCS, PI data historian, and Microsoft Excel/Power BI.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor advanced analytics and predictive models to identify equipment performance issues and reliability risks across coal and gas plants.
• Analyze real-time operating data, investigate anomalies, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues.
• Partner with plant operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to prevent unplanned outages.
• Evaluate equipment performance before/after maintenance and identify reliability improvements.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations turning complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
