Job summary

Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. seeks an engineer with deep data and modeling experience to join the Plant Asset Management Technology team. You will design lakehouse architectures, build the digital twin, and fuse financial, operational, and maintenance data into a fleet-wide view.

You’ll collaborate across PM, UX, and engineering to ship a data-driven web product. You’ll work in a cloud-first Microsoft stack (Azure, Databricks, Delta Lake, Synapse) and influence data workflows that

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong foundation in data engineering, system design, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience designing data architectures that power analytics and ML/AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Design: Architect lakehouse models and pipelines connecting telemetry, work management, and financial data.
• Build the Digital Twin by integrating asset-level models with fleet-wide data for health and performance.
• Fuse the Enterprise by incorporating financial, reliability, and maintenance data into the models.
• Build for the Users by delivering insights through dashboards and analytics that drive decisions.
• Ship! Ship! Ship!: Collaborate to release a web-based product that stakeholders will adopt.
