Job summary

Associated Electric Cooperative seeks a Manager, Gas Maintenance to lead a skilled team ensuring safe, reliable operation of a combined cycle power plant. You will drive maintenance strategy, outages, and continuous improvement across the plant to deliver dependable power.

The role requires 8+ years in power plant maintenance with 5 years in leadership, strong knowledge of turbines, rotating equipment, and control systems, and experience with budgeting and contractor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or eight years of combined cycle power plant experience, including five years leading maintenance personnel.
• Strong knowledge of combustion turbines, rotating equipment, predictive maintenance, and plant mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Experience leading maintenance planning, outages, budgeting, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability-centered maintenance, outage planning, and maintenance operations for plant equipment.
• Coach, develop, and support a high-performing maintenance team while fostering a strong safety culture.
• Manage maintenance schedules, budgets, contractors, and the CMMS to maximize equipment reliability.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and implement solutions that improve long-term plant performance.
