Qualifications

• 4+ years in maintenance or related engineering in power plant or military service.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to environmental procedures.
• Solid technical background in power plant equipment with instrument/controls knowledge.
• Experience with predictive maintenance: thermography, vibration, ultrasound, tribology.
• Able to multitask and manage several projects with effective communication.
• Familiar with maintenance management processes and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe work environment and enforces safety rules and procedures.
• Inspects job sites and reviews maintenance procedures for hazards.
• Conducts pre-job safety briefs for all assigned work and informs employees of rules.
• Prioritizes environmental equipment and systems maintenance for permit compliance.
• Coordinates with Operations Superintendent, Engineering, and Plant Manager to plan repairs and schedules.
• Develops budget requests for plant equipment maintenance and capital improvements.
• Submits project initiatives with scope, cost, and benefits and follows through on implementation.
• Controls and tracks department expenses to operate within budget and forecasts monthly.
