Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an Instrument Technician I, II, or III to support maintenance of control instruments in a power plant located on-site in Virginia. The role involves testing, calibration, installation and troubleshooting of flow meters, gauges, regulators, and related equipment.

The successful candidate will operate with increasing responsibility and may lead control system upgrade projects. Candidates should have electronics-related education or equivalent experience, and flexibility

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical education with related industrial experience.
• Ability to interpret configuration drawings and schematics.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, repair, configure, calibrate and install indicating and recording instruments in a power station.
• Identify causes of instrument performance issues and report findings to supervision.
• Lead control system upgrade projects and provide guidance to junior technicians.
