Job summary

Vistra is seeking a skilled technician to maintain electrical and instrumentation systems at the Midlothian, Texas facility. You will support plant operations, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with vendors to ensure reliable performance.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical and control systems, DCS experience, and a safety-first mindset. On-site work with potential overtime and outages is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of high/medium/low voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with DCS and plant instrumentation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment in the plant.
• Assist with outages and vendor coordination.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Document maintenance and test results in CMMS.
