Job summary

Camstex is seeking an E&I Technician-A at Conemaugh Generating Station to handle coal handling deliveries and support electrical/instrumentation maintenance. The role represents the first progression toward an E&I Technician career, requiring foundational knowledge of plant equipment and a commitment to safety and continuous operation.

Applicants should have a two-year technical degree plus 3–5 years in relevant power plant or industrial electrical experience; E&I entry-level testing is required

Qualifications

Two-year technical degree required with 3–5 years in power plant or industrial electrical/instrumentation experience; in lieu of a degree, significant applicable experience qualifies.
Successful completion of the E&I entry level test is required.

Responsibilities

Perform duties safely.
Maintain plant electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical problems.
Document work in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Be willing to work weekends, holidays, and outages.
