Job summary

Vistra Corp. seeks a Construction Manager to lead field operations for diverse energy projects, including solar, storage, fossil, and more.

You will oversee EPC contractors, manage safety, cost, and schedule, and ensure project alignment with Vistra standards from groundbreaking to commercial operation. The role requires extensive power generation experience, strong contract management, and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on-site.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of power generation, construction or equivalent energy industry experience.
• Experience in project management roles on large-scale energy projects.
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards (ANSI, NEC, etc.).
• Ability to manage large contract scopes and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction at the project site, managing budgets, schedules, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Interpret EPC contracts and coordinate with the main contractor through commercial operation.
• Approve monthly invoices and report progress to management.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and operations staff to ensure timely project turnover.
