Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an Auxiliary Operator for Faribault Energy Park, a 265 MW combined-cycle facility. You will operate and maintain major plant systems, train to become a system expert, and assist in start-up/shutdown and routine operations under supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring systems, recording logs, and supporting maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation. Candidates should have an associate degree in Power Plant Technology or related field and Minnesota boiler

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Power Plant Technology, Engineering, Process Technology, or related field is preferred.
• Must currently hold Minnesota Special Engineer (Boiler) License or be able to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Proven experience operating and maintaining major auxiliary equipment in power generation.
• Water chemistry knowledge and handling experience preferred, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain power plant major systems and subsystems under supervision.
• Train to become a system expert and provide technical assistance to management and maintenance personnel.
• Assist in start-up, shutdown, and routine operations of plant systems.
• Monitor and log plant operations, alarms, and performance data.
• Support maintenance during outages to restore full operation.
