ManpowerGroup is seeking a Power Originator / Trader to join our energy trading team in Austin, TX, with a London need. The role is remote during the initial phase, with in-person work expected within the first year.

You will build power trading and origination strategies, identify and bring deals to market, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes, controls, and risk reporting. This is a growth-focused startup-like environment in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with ERCOT and Texas power markets.
• Experience in power origination, commercial transactions, or environmental product trading.
• Ability to structure, negotiate, and market power or environmental deals.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop power trading and origination strategies within the ERCOT market.
• Identify, structure, negotiate, and bring power deals and products to market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop trading processes, controls, and operating procedures.
• Engage with counterparties and stakeholders to optimize transaction outcomes.
• Contribute to establishing risk management practices and reporting frameworks.
