Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks a seasoned leader to head the Module Product Engineering function, guiding advanced power modules from NPI to high-volume production and sustaining. You will recruit and develop product engineers and PE leads, own workforce planning, and establish governance for quality, cost, and readiness across OSAT and internal sites.

The role demands deep semiconductor power products expertise, strong data analytics, and proven ability to drive cross-functional execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in semiconductor product engineering or related leadership roles.
• 5+ years of managing engineers or technical teams.
• Strong technical depth in power products, module assembly, yield and sustaining execution.
• Ability to establish objectives, policies, procedures, metrics and governance.
• Excellent data analysis, risk interpretation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience driving cross-functional execution with Design, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and PM.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in engineering or business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Module Product Engineering function from NPI through high-volume production and sustaining.
• Manage, develop, and provision qualified Product Engineers and Embedded PE Leads.
• Own workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the module PE team.
• Define and maintain module PE standards for product readiness and qualification execution.
• Establish governance for module-level decisions affecting quality, cost, and production release.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to enable scalable module execution.
• Ensure robust module manufacturability across OSAT and internal sites.
• Lead executive escalation for major module yield excursions and corrective actions.
• Translate delivery team needs into staffing, tooling, data, and process requirements.
• Drive data-driven improvements in cost, yield, cycle time and robustness.
