Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to own technical readiness, manufacturability, and lifecycle performance of advanced power modules from NPI to high‑volume production and sustaining. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor product or manufacturing engineering.
• Ownership from NPI through high-volume production and sustaining.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to drive decisions.
• Experience with NPI, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing transfer.

Responsibilities

• Own product engineering execution for advanced power modules from NPI through high-volume production and sustaining.
• Own manufacturability of modules, driving robust assembly processes across OSAT and internal sites.
• Enforce IPC-A-610 workmanship standards in assemblies.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Design, Test, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Lead resolution of assembly excursions and module-level defects.
• Lead product bring-up, characterization, and silicon readiness with Design/Test/Applications.
• Define and maintain product specifications, limits, and guard-bands.
• Lead yield analysis, parametric trend monitoring, and root-cause investigations.
• Drive cost, yield, and cycle-time improvements from data-driven analysis.
• Own manufacturing release, qualification, and PCN management.
• Serve as technical escalation owner for production issues and customer returns.
• Support critical customer engagements on product, quality, and manufacturing topics.
