Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking to lead the Module Product Engineering function for advanced power modules, guiding NPI through high-volume production and sustaining. You will recruit, develop, and manage qualified Product Engineers and Embedded PE Leads to ensure on-time delivery and technical excellence.

The role requires governance of module readiness, manufacturability, and qualification, plus cross-functional alignment with Design, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in semiconductor product/engineering leadership roles
• Experience leading engineers and technical teams
• Deep knowledge of power modules, assembly, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Lead Module Product Engineering from NPI to high-volume production
• Manage, develop, and provision qualified Product Engineers and Embedded Leads
• Own workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Define and maintain module PE standards for readiness and qualification
• Establish governance for quality, cost, yield, and production release readiness
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Design, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, and more
• Ensure manufacturability across OSAT and internal sites
• Lead escalation and decision-making for major module issues
• Translate team needs into staffing, tooling, data, and process requirements
• Drive improvements in cost, yield, cycle time, and traceability
