Job summary

Yes Energy is seeking a Modeling Analyst II to serve as the subject matter expert on fundamental market price forecasting within the EnCompass product line. You will support customers, help with product development and documentation, and test and update market databases for North America.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in power system modeling including production costing, market price formation, and economic transmission analysis, along with strong communication and training skills.

Qualifications

Three years of experience in power system modeling, including market price forecasting, production costing, economic transmission analysis, and/or resource planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related analytical field.
Experience using Excel or BI tools to analyze data.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex modeling errors and guide customers through resolution.
Ability to travel to customer sites to provide in person training, up to 2 times per month.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, troubleshooting issues and technical support.
Lead online and in-person training and onboarding using presentation skills and product expertise.
Update and create product documentation, tutorials, and related materials.
Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to communicate product issues and test new EnCompass features.
Assist Power Infrastructure and partners in providing robust EnCompass databases for North American markets.
Support Sales and Marketing with SME input for campaigns and industry events.
