Job summary

Yes Energy in Boulder, Colorado is seeking a Modeling Analyst II to lead fundamental price forecasting within the EnCompass product line. You will provide advanced customer support, support product development and documentation, and test and update market databases for North America.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in power system modeling including production costing, market price formation, and economic transmission analysis, with strong communication and training skills.

Qualifications

• Three years of power system modeling experience including market price forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or related field.
• Experience using Excel or BI tools to analyze data.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers maximize product use through support, troubleshooting and guidance.
• Deliver training and onboarding sessions, using strong presentation skills.
• Update product documentation and tutorials.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to test new EnCompass features.
• Assist with North American EnCompass databases and data quality.
• Support Sales and Marketing with campaigns and events.
