Job summary

You will fabricate, assemble, and set up equipment, assist Test Engineers with tests, and help modify test articles while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Test Technician or in a similar testing role in manufacturing or service environments.
• Certification or associate's/technical degree in a relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical principles and power distribution concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and set up test equipment and instrumentation per specs and test plans.
• Assist Test Engineers in testing low and medium voltage equipment.
• Record and document test results accurately.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing procedures.
• Assemble, modify and wire test articles per design drawings.
• Fabricate and install parts using steel/copper/aluminum busbar.
• Operate fabricating machines (press brake, laser/punch, CNC router) for metals.
• Contribute to process improvements in testing methods.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and facilities.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with packaging, loading and unloading of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain organized laboratory area and assist with facility upkeep.
• Maintain limited inventory of testing materials and supplies.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing engineering and quality teams.
