We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Power Integrity Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and verification of Power Integrity solutions for SoCs used in Apple devices. You will work with multi-functional teams to develop droop targets, design and implement a power supply network solution, and verify the quality of the power supply using lab measurements.

Description

1. Power delivery modeling, simulation, and characterization for die, package, board, and Voltage Regulator
2. Work with on-die/package/board power delivery for current and future generations
3. Define the power architecture and design solution space for the target system
4. Provide implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design group
5. Perform feasibility study, design verification, and sign off
6. Perform model to hardware correlation on component and product/system level

Minimum Qualifications

+ BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1. M.S and or Ph.D. with academic background in Power/Signal Integrity
2. Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation
3. Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solution
4. Understanding of power supply architecture covering voltage regulator technologies, PCB and package design trends and trade-offs, and chip supply design including low-power design methodologies
5. Deep understanding of Voltage Regulator design principles and electrical performance in the system environment
6. Good knowledge in 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic and transmission line theory
7. Familiar with lab equipment including but not limited to VNA, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer
8. Ability to work and communicate efficiently in a multi-functional team

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
