Job summary

SiFive is seeking a senior specialist to develop and deploy methodology to measure and analyze IP power consumption. You will build power analysis flows, correlate models with RTL and silicon, and deploy measurement infrastructure to support architecture exploration.

The role requires 8+ years in power benchmarking and a strong background in either hardware or software development, with a solid grasp of high-performance CPU architectures and ASIC power optimization.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science / Computer Architecture
• 8+ years of experience in power benchmarking, analysis and modeling
• Experience with power impacts at architecture, logic design, and circuit levels.
• Knowledge of computer architecture of high performance out-of-order CPU designs.
• Experience with ASIC power analysis and optimization.
• Hands-on expertise with either HW development (RTL/implementation flows, verification/validation, backend flows, FPGA flows) or SW development is a strong plus.
• Competency in software engineering best practices needed to maintain and refactor very large object oriented code bases.
• Self-starter, fast learner, strong problem-solving skills
