Job summary

Novolex in Jackson, TN is hiring a Forklift Driver to move products from production to warehouse and load/unload trucks and railcars. The role requires operating a power industrial truck (electric or propane) and maintaining safe, efficient material handling in a manufacturing setting.

The position expects 1–2 years forklift experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and preferably a CDL certification. Weekend work and overtime are often required, with comprehensive benefits and training programs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of Forklift experience.
• 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to complete OSHA Forklift Training/Refresher training.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers with finished product to ship to customers.
• Unload railcars.
• Transfer product within the facility.
• Store/stack finished product in racks.
• Transfer rolls of paper from warehouse to production floor.
• Follow GMP and HACCP programs to ensure product safety.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
