Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech II) to join the Power/HVAC division. In this role, you’ll perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs on diesel engines and HVAC equipment while providing exceptional customer service.

On a daily basis, you’ll improve your skills and have opportunities to move into higher-level technical roles. This position may require travel to customer sites and involves maintaining various rental and customer equipment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment.
• Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Responsible for service documentation.
• Occasional travel to customer sites.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
