United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Branch Manager for the Power/HVAC Division in Des Moines. You will lead a team across sales, service, maintenance and drivers to deliver safe, reliable equipment and outstanding customer service.

You will own the branch P&L, oversee budgeting and reporting, and drive growth through strong sales and operational discipline. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 5+ years of management experience in a profit center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5+ years of business management experience
• Strong sales and customer service experience; outside sales preferred
• Understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic systems
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred
• Effective leadership, organizational and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Manage branch operations focusing on safety, productivity, customer service and profitability
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives
• Prepare reports including profit and loss statements and budgets
• Manage personnel matters
• Oversee safety programs, audits, OSHA compliance and drug testing
• Other duties as needed
