Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• ABET Accredited strong preferred.
• Basic knowledge in standard engineering techniques, principles and procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work analytically in quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership.
• GPA 3.0 strongly preferred.
• Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, interprets, and applies engineering, financial, and economic conditions to client projects.
• Assists with analyzing life-cycle costs by developing technical and economic assumptions.
• Assists project team with technical assessments and regulatory impacts.
• Assists with designing, reviewing, and modifying drawings for project requirements.
• Supports power system planning and operations analysis and economic dispatch.
• Performs technical, engineering, economic, and financial studies for utility projects.
• Supports transmission/distribution study analysis using power system software.
• Supports generation (fossil/renewable) assessments and risk analyses.
• Supports technical reports and client presentations.
• Prepares contracts and planning documentation for design activities.
