Pike Electric LLC in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Groundman to start a rewarding career in building and maintaining our nation's power grid. You will report to the Foreman and perform essential field tasks on active distribution and transmission projects.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, exposure to outdoor conditions, and occasional travel or on-call work. Safety is central, with PPE and procedures followed diligently.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Willing to work out-of-state assignments.

Responsabilités

• Perform new construction and maintain/repair de-energized powerlines with safety first.
• Help install/repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Perform rigorous physical labor and regularly lift heavy tools and equipment.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain, wind).
• Available to work outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
