Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 Power Rotation based in Odessa, TX. You’ll be based at a Midland, TX/Carlsbad, NM service center and travel daily in your company vehicle to customer sites. Expect overtime and weekend work, earning powers to support a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs of diesel generators, and commissioning canopy and containerized units. You may work alone or with other techs to install and service equipment at customer sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience working on Cummins diesel power/gas generators, mechanics or electricians.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading schematics.
• May need TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Based at Midland, TX/Carlsbad, NM service center and travel daily in company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of generators, engines, and electrical equipment.
• Commissioning of canopy generators and containerized units.
• Troubleshoot equipment at shop and customer locations; perform repairs.
• Work solo or in teams to set up and operate equipment at sites.
