Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Power Generation Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift to perform inspections and functional testing on generator systems to ensure electrical code conformity, proper operation, and safe energization prior to shipment from the plant.

The role requires analyzing test results, documenting specifications, and handling gear movement with forklift or pallet jack, including panels up to 50 lb.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• NFPA70E certification (or able to obtain).
• Ability to read and interpret English documents and directions.
• 2+ years’ experience with Switchgear, Electrical or Generator systems.

Responsibilities

• Locate and track documentation for specific jobs.
• Run tests and inspections per gear type.
• Load files and test sequences per project notes.
• Accurately record test results and specs.
• Move gear using forklift or pallet jack.
• Remove/install panels up to 50 lb.
• Other duties as assigned.
