Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a hands-on Project Manager with experience in fossil fuel, coal-fired, or combined cycle power generation to lead engineered equipment projects for conventional power facilities.

You will manage from engineering and procurement through fabrication, installation, startup, and closeout, coordinating with EPC contractors, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• PM experience within fossil fuel, coal fired or combined cycle
• Direct EPC experience or hands-on management with EPC contractors
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, equipment installation, or commissioning
• Background with gas turbines, power plant equipment, industrial mechanical systems

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from engineering and procurement through fabrication, installation, startup, and closeout
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, engineering teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to drive project execution
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, materials, logistics, and equipment delivery
• Support technical coordination and execution of projects involving gas turbines and large mechanical equipment
• Manage project changes, costs, risks, and customer expectations throughout the lifecycle
• Work with field teams to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule and within budget
