Williams is seeking a Project Director to lead utility-scale and behind-the-meter power generation initiatives, including cogeneration, energy storage, and related transmission work. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage complex contracts, and drive project risk assessments in a dynamic energy landscape.

This role requires strong leadership, advanced scheduling, and robust financial oversight, with travel up to 25% as needed. Houston-area opportunities with a Fortune 500 employer.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program plus 7+ years in engineering, project controls, development, operations, or project management within power/energy related sector.
• Preferred: Master's degree in engineering or related field plus 5+ years in engineering, project controls, and/or management in oil & gas.
• PE license and/or PMP certification preferred.
• Strong scheduling, risk management, and data-driven decision making using industry tools.

Aufgaben

• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, PMs, and specialists to deliver high-impact power generation projects.
• Oversee development from early stage through construction readiness, execution, commissioning, and commercial operation.
• Steer budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls across multi-year programs.
• Coordinate due diligence, permitting, interconnection, and contractual negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
