Job summary

Cummins Inc. in White Bear Lake, MN is seeking a Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and service generators and related equipment on-site.

You will engage with customers professionally, maintain service records, and stay current with Cummins safety policies while developing product certifications. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical repair skills, experience with high/low voltage, and the ability to commission ATS installations.

Qualifications

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
• High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
• Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
• Basic Diesel Engine experience.
• Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
• Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.
